Haworth, the manufacturer of Infinnity work station system, aimed to generate fresh design ideas for the product. To achieve this, they organized a design contest to invite innovative concepts. However, they faced a challenge in effectively promoting the contest and capturing the attention of potential participants.
To address this challenge, I took the initiative to create a promotional video, using my skills in character sketching with Photoshop, shooting a stop-motion video using a Canon 60D. Lastly, I utilized Adobe After Effects for animation and post-production, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the video.
Haworth, in celebration of its 10-year anniversary for their best-selling chair, desired a commemorative video that would evoke the emotional connection to their product’s success and longevity. They sought to create a video that would effectively reflect the significance of this milestone.
To address this objective, I undertook the responsibility of creating the celebratory video. Utilizing my skills in storyboarding with Photoshop, I meticulously planned the visual narrative. Employing 3ds Max, I developed a detailed 3D model and implemented animation techniques and live action recording, to bring the chair to life. Additionally, I employed 3D tracking and leveraged the capabilities of Adobe After Effects for seamless post-production enhancements. To enhance the overall production value, I also hired a professional voice-over talent to provide a compelling narration.
